Dakota Johnson Co-Signs a New Sensible Shoe for Spring 2026

When it comes to consistently excellent off-duty dressing, nobody is doing it like Dakota Johnson. While she is certainly no stranger to a naked dress, away from the red carpet, the actor usually forgoes the look-at-me approach, and is far more likely to be spied in a pair of straight-leg jeans and a trench coat, or some cool girl athleisurewear.
Her formula is simple: great jeans (by way of Agolde), a good jacket, and a perfect set of bangs—the kind of easy-to-emulate look that makes you feel as though you too could resemble an A-lister while popping to the shop for milk. She styled the fit with Prada oval sunglasses and a vintage Prada calf hair leopard print bag.

Dakota’s most recent outing proves not only that she’s a Blank Street girl, a lover of leopard print, and fond of a statement scarf – she’s also a die-hard fan of a sensible shoe. Johnson is frequently seen in a loafer, but this time chose an equally studious unisex lace-up Derby-style boot care of Legres to go with her black jeans and slouchy knit. This sort of sturdy footwear is just right for the time of year—add a speciality matcha and a vintage Prada bag, and you’ve got the makings of a perfect (rainy) spring look a la Dakota Johnson.
