We are still leaning heavily on outerwear these days, but things are starting to get a little lighter and brighter. Transitional layering is very much top of mind, especially in more temperate climates that are seeing earlier signs of spring, and with Fashion Month in full force, we noticed the trench coat taking center stage—truly the hero piece in both London and Milan this week. Worn by everyone from Kendall Jenner, who went for signature minimalism with a Burberry Mac, white T-shirt, white wide-leg pants, and high-vamp block heel, to Alexa Chung, who opted for a more maximalist take, completing hers with a graphic T-shirt, utilitarian pants, and sparkly accessories.
